Free Motion Machine Embroidery class

A Free-Motion Embroidery Masterclass took place today. We covered how to use a sewing machine to create a series of marks and textures, just as you would with a pencil. Each student made their own ‘Sampler’ for reference.  We then made ‘lace’ using water-soluble fabric. The afternoon project was a woodland scene putting into practice the newly-learned skills and introducing my version of ‘drawn-thread’ work to create the trees.

Students comments include:

“I loved the Free-motion embroidery class. Great fun and amazing what you can produce” -Fiona L.

“Thanks you Jen for your skills and patience.  Had a fabulous day” -Sally L.”

” I had a fab time Jen. The pace was just right and I had lots to show my family…”  -Carol D.
