Over two inspiring days, you’ll gain the essential skills to sew with confidence:

• How to use a sewing machine safely and effectively
• Winding bobbins, threading, and mastering stitch types
• Understanding stitch length, width, and tension
• Using different presser feet and cutting fabric accurately
• Sewing perfect straight lines, smooth curves, and corners
• Three different seam types and when to use them
• Taking up hems (by machine and by hand)
• Making buttonholes and inserting zips
• Sewing machine maintenance and care
• Mending skills: repairing tears, split seams, sewing on buttons

You’ll make three fabulous projects to practice your new skills:

• A lined reversible tote bag
• A zipped make-up bag
• An iPad/tablet cover (with tutorial support to finish at home)

All fabrics are included, so you can simply turn up and start sewing.
