If you’re having trouble with your overlocker, then I can help.

Whether it’s still in the box and you’re scared of it, struggling to get started, or don’t know why the stitching is loopy, then a 1-hour troubleshooting session is probably all you need to get you going.

Overlockers are amazing machines that can stitch, trim and neaten seams all in one operation. Yet so few owners fully understand them or use them to their full potential. Most people who have overlockers only use them for neatening edges but they can do so much more.

Here’s a list of some of the things I can help with:

  • Know what all the parts do
  • How to thread it
  • How to obtain the correct tension
  • Basic edging and seaming operations using 2, 3 & 4 threads
  • Flatlock and blind hemming
  • How to sew rolled hems

If you’ve got a problem with your overlocker, then please e-mail me and let me know how I can help you get to know your overlocker. Let me know the make and model of your machine too.

If you’re considering buying an overlocker, then here’s my review of the Juki MO-644D

Level 2: Improvers

You must have your own overlocker and a webcam (your smartphone, tablet, or laptop). I’ll e-mail you the joining instructions after booking.
