An Easy envelope cushion is a perfect project if you’ve only just started sewing. This class aims to teach you some basic sewing skills once you’ve learned how to use a sewing machine. Discover how satisfying it is to make your own unique soft furnishings. There are no complicated zips to worry about – just a simple envelope-style overlap closure. Or you can be a bit more adventurous and make a button closure for a stylish look. What’s covered:
- Measuring and cutting fabric
- Matching patterns (if necessary)
- Sewing up the pieces
- 3 different style options,
- Learn to make covered buttons and buttonholes for a stylish closure
Please bring a 40cm cushion pad and up to 1 metre of fabric (plus a small amount of a contrast fabric if you’d like), and 2 buttons (self cover or standard-style – no larger than 25mm diameter (1″), matching thread)
Sewing machines are provided or you can bring your own.
